- eddies, eb: eurobucks, money.
- chrome: cyberware. chromed up: carrying a lot of it.
- borg: someone more machine than person.
- ripperdoc: a street surgeon who installs cyberware.
- fixer: a broker who finds jobs and gear, for a cut.
- gig: a job.
- edgerunner: a mercenary living on the edge of the law. You.
- corpo: a corporate employee, and not a compliment.
- flatline: to die, or to kill. zeroed: killed.
- gonk: an idiot.
- preem: premium, excellent. nova: cool.
- delta: to leave fast. "Let's delta."
- braindance, BD: a full-sensory recording of someone else's life.
- ICE: security programs that guard a network, and fight back.
- screamsheet: a cheap printed newspaper.
- the Red: the years since the war, named for the sky.
